Surfer's Beach - El Cotillo

This is a view of the Surfer's Beach to the south of the village. The sand goes on for miles round numerous bays overlooked by towering cliffs. This beach is particularly favoured by surfers because of it's huge expanse and easy access to the rolling waves. Sunbathers are sure to find a quiet spot here with all the space that is available but please be careful when wading into the water as there can be quite a powerful undertow. Consequently, this beach is manned by a lifeguard who will display the relevant safety flag during his presence.
